Mark ,our lovely 15 year old son and younger brother of Rob , such a loving and caring person who
would do anything for you .
Mark liked playing his bass guitar and was a fan of the red hot chili peppers. He also played hockey
for Darlington Hockey club and was a keen Liverpool football fan . Sport was one of Marks passions
and he and his Dad spent much time supporting England in cricket, football and rugby.
Mark was in his final year at Hummersknott comprehensive school studying for his GCSE's he enjoyed
geography, design technology and business studies but more importantly had a good group of friends
who all played football at breaktimes .
When he was younger Mark was a member of beavers ,cubs and scouts and especially enjoyed camping .
He also took an interest in cooking and from a young age was capable of cooking a meal, he loved
pasta dishes..
He was a real family person and loved family get-togethers and spending time with his Nanas and
grandads aunties, uncle,and cousins.
Mark was such a special person and dearly loved by all his family and friends .
He was suddenly taken away from us by acute leukaemia in February 2007.
We miss him so much .
Heaven made an Angel
Then sent him from above,
Just to be my son,
and fill my world with love.
All the joy I ever needed,
Was captured in his smile,
He filled my world with sunshine,
If only for a while,
I never thought there would be a time,
That we would have to part,
when heaven took my angel back,
They left a broken heart.

you would be so proud Mark, Robert has got into university , so he will be setting off up to newcastle next week for threshers week on Monday , its been a bit of a rush but I know you would send him all your best and also to all your friends as this would have your year to take the uni step as well . as you know , ive been using your mobile phone , it made me feel closer to you , i had you music stored and some of your messages and you course work too , but it has stopped working properley . ive had to get a new one . managed to save most things but its not the same . miss you so much my sweet. until we meet again...xxxxx..
Can't believe how long it's been. It feels just like yesterday when I was standing in your kitchen back when we were about 5 and Mark gave me a neon green bouncy ball, from then I thought he was a awesome cousin. And back in Auntie Frances back garden playing swingball. I never got to meet mark again after that.. But I'm sure he grew into a lovely young man. I'll never forget him.
